DP Discussion on Undergraduate Education Funding: Oct. 19th 2-4

Interested faculty and students are invited to a discussion about potential external funding for research involving undergraduate education. The idea is to get a good understanding of the expectations of grant funders in this research area and to help you find the "best fit". The discussion will be held on Tuesday, October 19th, from 2-4pm in the Agora. This is inside the Learning Technologies Department (Suite G150) on the first floor of Discovery Park.

There will be two main presenters:
• Rick Nader, from the UNT Office of Research & Economic Development (and a former NSF Program Officer), will discuss NSF Undergraduate Education Research Funding. Please be prepared to discuss your reactions to the information presented, your specific interests, and ideas and questions about potential projects.
• Marc Cutright, Associate Professor and Director of the Center for Higher Education at UNT and Director of Research, Grants and Advancement at NISTS, will discuss the NISTS Conference, some of the presentations, and potential opportunities from the standpoint of NISTS.
