Applications for Learning Enhancement Grants - Due Nov.5

The Center for Learning Enhancement, Assessment, and Redesign (CLEAR) is requesting proposals from faculty members who would like to participate in the 2010-2011 Learning Enhancement Grant Program.

The goal of the Learning Enhancement Grant Program is to encourage faculty to explore new ways of using technology in an effort to improve and enrich the student learning experience. A priority this year is the design or re-designs of a course or program in support of the university’s Strategic Goal 1: To promote excellence in student-centered education.

Projects that involve the exploration of new or emerging technologies are encouraged. Preference will be given to projects that also support the university’s strategic plan for research.

Deadline for submission is Nov. 5. Grant recipients will be notified Nov. 12.

Eligibility, funding levels, and instructions for submitting a proposalare provided in detail in the RFP and application that are available on the Learning Enhancement Grants webpage.

Applicants will also find funded proposals from the 2009-2010 Learning Enhancement Grant Program on that page.
