Poster Mini Conference for IIS PhD Students - April 15

For the April 15th Colloquium we are inviting all IIS PhD students to present posters with their current research. If you are interested in participating in this session you should submit a 2 page extended abstract following the ASIST document format that is described in more detail in the following link (http://www.asis.org/asist2010/asist2010pubsformat.doc ).

The poster session is intended for students to present work in progress, preliminary results, pilot studies, new thought-provoking ideas, or novel applications/implementations(either as part of a class or as individual research).

To submit your entry you should send an email attaching a PDF or Word document with your extended abstract to CI-IISPHD@unt.edu.The dead line for submitting your extended abstract is April 8th by midnight (Central Time). Posters will be reviewed by IIS faculty members and accepted posters will be presented during the IIS PhD Colloquium that will be held on April 15th from 6:30 to 9:20 pm. Posters should be no larger than 3x3 feet. A cash prize will be awarded to the best poster.

All students in the IIS PhD program are welcome to submit entries to this mini conference.
